Here’s to making a career out of sports writing! 

Let’s hope my website can go towards ‘getting my foot in the door’- as a Jeff Stelling key note speech at my University urged me and so many other trainee journalists to do so. 

If you haven’t realised already, I have an obsession for a particular Merseyside football club.

I remain an admirer of Neil Mellor’s ‘cushioned header’ for that famous Steven Gerrard goal versus Olympiacos and an admitted childhood fan of Florent Sinama-Pongolle- a name only Liverpool fans will probably remember.

Football is my main sporting interest, however I am also a big fan of the NFL and the New York Giants, in particular. 

My hope is to be able to cover more unfamiliar sports with as much accuracy and confidence as I do when dicussing Football.

I am a fan of Boxing and Cricket and, like so many, I will always tune in to watch the likes of Usain Bolt and Mo Farah in the Athletics.
